Quick Fix Quickie – How to Save a botched SxS Card Transfer
Sooooo…. ever by accident copied footage off of an SxS card when you were shooting with an EX and maybe forgot to grab those crucial meta data files in the BPAV folder? Well, not sure how it happened, but it happened. While on the road one of our camera guys copied out a card to [...]
Free Paper Crumple Transitions!
Well, been busy at the office. One thing we did a few days ago was create a paper crumple transition using some good ol’ stop motion and rotoscoping. And here they are for your free use!
This shit saved my ass, and it can save yours too!
So we had a fairly important shoot today with some heads of the IIHF (international ice hockey federation http://www.iihf.com/) today. All went well, got our shots off within a few hours, packed up and headed back to the office to start offloading footage and get down to cutting.

Final Round of Germany Pictures
Heres a final round of shots from Germany.
We had one final day with the car and decided to road trip it through Heidelberg up to a small town on top of a hill called Dilsburg. This place was astounding, basically the whole town was a fortification.
We found the main castle, and paid this crazy dude [...]
More Germanies
More shots.
For John’s birthday we decided it would be a great idea to shave moustaches and soul patches. Rob looks pretty pimp.
This is Damaris finding her once thought lost wedding ring. She screamed so loud it almost deafened the groom.
For John’s birthday cake, we did it German style. Melted ham and cheese on a bretzel [...]
Road Trip in Germs
Heres some shots from our road trip while we were in Germany to Winterberg for some biking.
We rented a car and took off up north to shred DH, rented a room at a sweet little villa in the hills, ate like kings, shred like kings, and drank like morons.
These are some long exposure shots of [...]
Dachau
Dachau was the first of the concentration camps to be built. It was actually opened 1933. Never a full blown extermination camp, but that didn’t stop 45,000 people from being murdered here.
